Adeline Robertsdahl

Adeline G. (Hoel) Robertsdahl, 92, formerly of Christine, ND passed away on April 4, 2018, in Eventide Nursing Home, Moorhead, MN. Adeline was born on October 21, 1925 to Carl Alfred and Gina (Pederson) Hoel in rural Walcott Township, ND. Adeline attended and graduated from Pleasant Consolidated School in rural Walcott. She then moved to Fargo, ND where she worked at the candy counter at JCPenny’s.

Adeline was united in marriage to Clarence Robertsdahl on December 23, 1943 in Fargo, ND. After their marriage, they moved to the Kindred/Christine area where they farmed and cared for their family. Adeline was very active in the Hickson Lutheran Church community, participating in the Ladies Aid, Choir, teaching Sunday School, quilting, and attending Bible Study. Adeline moved back to Fargo in November, 2008 to assisted living, eventually residing at Serenity Assisted Living, Dilworth, MN.

Adeline is survived by her children, Clarice Meyer, Arla Hanstad, Linda Niekamp, Monica (Kevin) Gulbrandson, Corey Robertsdahl, and Jeffrey Robertsdahl; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. Adeline is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents; sisters, Edna, Evelyn, Salina, Gladys, Alyce, Hazel, and Harriet; and son-in-law, Phil Hanstad.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Hickson Lutheran Church, Hickson, ND at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at North Pleasant Cemetery, rural Hickson, ND at a later date.
