Adeline V. Chadwick

Adeline V. Chadwick, 83, Fargo, ND, died on Friday, March 6, 2009, in MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Adeline Viola Fraase was born on December 4, 1925, in Venlo, ND, to Fred and Elizabeth Bucholtz Fraase. She grew up and attended school in Freda, ND. Adeline married Chuck F. Chadwick on December 10, 1942 and they lived in Bismarck, and various other North Dakota communities before settling in Dilworth, MN, where they raised their family. She worked as a waitress at the Pheasant Café in Fargo. They retired in Louisburg, MO. On February 22, 1990, Adeline received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Her husband Chuck died on November 8, 1996. She returned to Fargo where she was the Lunch Room Lady at Washington School for the past ten years.Adeline is survived by two sons, Rhinney Joanne Chadwick, Detroit Lakes, MN, and Charlie "Chuck" Patricia Chadwick, Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law Sandie Leo Thomas, Velva, ND; brother Roger Sharlene Fraase, Dickinson, ND; sisters, Elaine Kasper Laches, Mott, ND, Ina Glenn Udell, Carson, ND, Alice Frank Fischer, Carson, ND; sisters-in-law Betty Fraase, Moorhead, and Mercy Fraase, Spokane, WA; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Pat Quade, Lincoln, NE, Kara Chadwick, Moscow, ID, Kelly Chadwick, Fargo, ND, Mike Dawn Chadwick, West Fargo, ND, Heather Chadwick, Bangkok, Thailand Peace Corps, Tarri Cliff Wenstad, Mohall, ND, Crystal Scott Shorb Chadwick, Minot, ND, Erik Melissa Chadwick, Froid, MT; fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Elizabeth Fraase, brothers, Fred Fraase, Jr., Ronald Fraase; husband Chuck F. Chadwick; and her son, Harold Chadwick.
