Adeline V. Wang

Adeline V. Wang, 90, of Hawley, MN, died Monday, July 18, 2016, in Viking Manor Nursing Home, Ulen, MN. Adeline was born February 12, 1926, in Glyndon Township, MN, the oldest child of Archie and Clara Olson Fuchs. She married Ola “Doc” Wang on July 18, 1947. Together they made their home near Glyndon before settling in Hawley in 1951, where they farmed and raised a family. Adeline took pride in their farm and enjoyed raising the kids. She also enjoyed quilting and ceramics, but most of all loved her family. She will be dearly missed.

Adeline is survived by her sons, Gary Marie Wang of Hawley, MN, Lyle Julie Wang of Hawley, MN, Roger Kathy Wang of Vergas, MN, Kenneth Joan Wang of Hawley, MN, Russell Wang of Hawley, MN; daughter, Marlys Robert Christiansen of Menagha, MN; and 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; brother in law, Wesley Rudd; and sisters in law, Patty, Patsy, and Alice Fuchs; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ola “Doc”; brothers, George, Duane, and Dennis Fuchs; and sisters, Elaine Rudd; and LaVerne Fuchs.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, from 5-7 PM, with prayer service at 7 PM at Wright Funeral Home in Hawley.

Funeral will be Friday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m., in Lysne Lutheran Church in rural Hawley.

Interment will be at Lysne Lutheran Church Cemetery.
