Adolph “Jr” Anderson of Felton MN, 80, died peacefully on Monday December 28th, following a very brief illness. Jr was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was born in Pelican Rapids on November 1, 1935 to Adolph and Petra Anderson. He grew up in Rollag and worked on the family farm until he entered the Army, serving in Greenland. On October 12, 1963, he married Charlotte Pischke and resided in Downer, Pelican Rapids and then moved to Felton where they raised their family and lived for over 45 years. They were married for 48 years, until Charlotte passed away in 2011. Jr was a truck driver and then worked for 30 years driving a maintainer for Clay County, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Felton Volunteer Fire Department and instrumental in rejuvenating the Boy Scouts in Felton. He loved the Rollag Steamthresher’s Annual Reunion, attending every year. Jr loved his family and friends with a passion and will be sadly missed by his 5 children: Keith Jeri Pischke Burnsville, Wendy Jeral Hawley, Mike Anderson Lindsey Pelican Rapids, Dave Tammy Anderson Fargo, Scott Anderson Fargo, 7 Grandchildren: Nate Pischke Jessica, Ben Lisa Pischke, Taylor, Lindsey, Charlynn, Bradley and Raelynn Anderson, 3 Great Grandchildren: Sophia, Violet and Kyle Pischke and special friend Suzanne Cartwright. He is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte, parents Adolph and Petra Anderson and 15 siblings, Ole, Albert, Carl, Elmer, John, Oscar, Clara, Alma, Emma, Hilda, Jeanette, Olga, Bertha, Ruby, Ardis. Visitation from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 3rd at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, MN. with prayer service following. Visitation resumes at the Church at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 4th, service at 11:00 a.m. followed by luncheon at the Felton Community Hall from Noon – 2:00 p.m. The burial will be at Rollag Lutheran Cemetery at 3:00 pm. We’ll miss you forever Dad.
