Aggie was born November 24, 1907 in Thayer, KS, to Henry and Florence Boeddeker. The family moved to Niota, Illinois, in 1911. From there they moved to Hillsboro, ND. She attended school at the Herberg Consolidation School. After finishing school she worked at the Weston Hotel in Hillsboro. In 1926 she married Edwin Pederson. They lived in Hillsboro until 1937 when they moved to Perley, MN. In 1941 they purchased the Roadside Bar and Café in Georgetown, MN. Edwin died in 1949. Aggie married Loren Helmeke in June, 1952. She continued to run the Bar until selling it in 1965. Together, Loren and Aggie continued to live in Georgetown until moving to an apartment in Fargo, ND, in 2000. Aggie was involved in local affairs, serving as an election judge for many years. She also served many years as treasurer for the Minnesota State Auxiliary to the Rural Carrier Assn. She enjoyed the many trips taken with Loren and playing cards, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Aggie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Loren; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Lloyd Helmeke; sisters, Lucy and Marie; brothers, Eugene and Henry; and many relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her son, Gene; daughters, Carol Ann Pederson and Lois Helmeke; and 9 brothers and sisters.
