Agnes R. Nielsen

Agnes R. Nielsen, 85, Manorcare Nursing Home, Fargo, ND, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, in the nursing home.Agnes Ruby Severson was born on June 12, 1920, in Dalton, MN, to Andrew and Anna Severson. She grew up and attended school there. She worked in Minneapolis and Elbow Lake, MN, and Fargo, ND, before her marriage. She married Julius W. "Bill" Nielsen on August 30, 1947, in Dalton, MN, and they made their home in north Moorhead, MN. Bill died on May 16, 1989. Agnes moved to Manorcare in November of 2001. Agnes is survived by two daughters, Patricia Nielsen, Maple Grove, MN, and Ginger Ken Schneider, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren, Stacy, Stephanie and Jay Nielsen, and Kristofer Schneider; a daughter-in-law, Val Nielsen, Moorhead, MN; a sister-in-law, Esther Nelson, Sebeka, MN. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Nielsen, on July 28, 2003; and three siblings, Margaret Miles, Celia Thomason and Alfred Severson.Agnes's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Manorcare for the excellent care that they provided her.
