Alfred W. Christensen

Alfred was born December 23, 1909 in Keene Township, rural Hawley, Minnesota, to Ole A. and Caroline Jensen Christensen. He grew up in Cromwell Township and attended rural country school. Alfred began farming at age sixteen. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in France, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium. Following his military service he moved back to Hawley where he settled.Alfred was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Albin, Henry & Reinhardt Christensen; and one sister, Nina Hajek. He is survived by one sister, Lillie Johnson, Hawley, MN.
