Alice Moe

Alice Moe, 96, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, in Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park, MN. Alice was born January 12, 1920, in Lake Park Village, MN, to Severt and Teresa Roen. She married Ernest J. Moe on November 5, 1939. Together they made their home and farmed in the Audubon and Lake Park area until April, 1993, when they moved to Detroit Lakes, MN. Alice enjoyed spending time with family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Alice is survived by her son, Robert Dixie Moe of Fergus Falls, MN; daughter, Patty Wiedewitsch of Detroit Lakes, MN; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Dean Iverson of Ulen, MN, Marian Lunde of Detroit Lakes, MN, Terry Stewart Ackerson of Detroit Lakes, MN; brother, Bernard Roen of Lake Park, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; daughter, Marie Zueger; son-in-law, Bob Wiedewitsch; sister, Dorothy Haugrud; brothers, John and Theron Roen; and brother-in-law, Alton Lunde.

Funeral will be Saturday, May 7, at 11:00 a.m., in Lake Park Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.

Interment will be at Lake Park Lutheran Cemetery.
