Allen G. Reiners

Allen Gene Reiners (Al) born Oct 19th, 1950 to Harm and Hannah (Rindahl) Reiners in Canby, MN.  He was baptized at Zacchaeus American Lutheran Church and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Canby MN. He grew up on a farm in rural Canby and graduated from Canby High School in 1968.  He then went on to graduate from Southwest State University and spent his career working in Healthcare Administration.

In 1993, his son Cory Allen was born. Together they enjoyed fishing and hunting trips to Wyoming, Nebraska and Montana.  In addition, he treasured the friendships and time spent at the lake.

Survived by Mary Knutson, Cory (Katie) Reiners, Melissa (Tim) Werner (Allyson, Ethan & Samuel); Vicki (Kevin) Ernst, (Drew and Jakob).  Sister Arlene (Hank) Jerzak; nieces Brenda (Ron) Muelebroeck, Becky (Tom) Noyes.  Great nieces and nephews Renee (Mike) Van Hecke, Kari (Jeff) Bengford, McKenzie (Ethan) Kack; Denver, Shane, Morgan and Gavin Noyes. Great, great nieces and nephews Melanie, Marissa, Max, Abby and Ruby.  Many cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Harm and Hannah, and many special aunts and uncles.

Passed away at his Lake Bijou home on Friday, November 24th, 2017 at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 5 days.

There will be a private celebration of Al’s life.
