Amber L. Lee

Amber Lynn Lee, 42, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Amber was born October 24, 1977, to Lyn and Lauri (Keppler) Birkeland. She grew up and attended school in Hillsboro, ND, graduating from high school in 1996. Following high school, she continued her education at Minnesota State University Moorhead where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Amber married Scott Lee on October 23, 2004. Over the years, she worked for law firms in Fargo, ND. She called Fargo her home for most of her life until moving to Dilworth in January of 2020. She enjoyed being active and spending time in the lakes area. She will be dearly missed.

Amber is survived by her daughter, Ava Lee of Berthold, ND; father, Lyn Birkeland; sister, Courtney Greenwaldt of Dilworth, MN; brother, Brandon (Elizabeth) Birkeland of Portland, ND; nieces and nephews, Isaac Ahlin, Dylan Hintzen, Audrie and Aspen Greenwaldt, and Alexandra and Brookelyn Birkeland.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lauri Birkeland; and her grandparents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
