Amy R. Amundson

Amy Roselyn Livdahl was born March 27, 1920, to William and Ruth Backlund Livdahl near Comstock, MN. She grew up on the family farm, attended Rustad School and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1938. She did domestic work until her marriage to Ole Amundson on November 18, 1942. They farmed and lived in the Rustad-Comstock area until Ole's death in 2000. Amy had resided at Eventide since 2000.Amy is survived by two daughters, Mary Arnold Knight of West Fargo, ND, Bonnie Robert Colon of North Judson, IN; and three granddaughters, Lisa Chris Lance, Katie Taylor and Cara Colon. She is also survived by siblings, Eva Skarphol of Fargo, ND, Evonne Erling Anderson of Moorhead, MN, James Myrtle Livdahl of Moorhead, MN, Roger Barbara Livdahl of Spring Lake Park, MN, Gerald Rosemary Livdahl of Lake Park, MN, and sisters-in-law, Orris Bye and Violet Amundson, both of Moorhead, MN.She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, William "Bud" Livdahl; son-in-law, Scott Taylor; and brother-in-law, Jacob Skarphol.The family sincerely thanks the staff at Eventide for their many years of care and friendship and Hospice of the Red River Valley for their most recent care.
