Ann M. Krabbenhoft

Ann M. Krabbenhoft passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in Eventide on 8th, Moorhead, MN, at the age of 98.
Ann Krabbenhoft, daughter of Fred and Marie Johnk was born December 10, 1917, near Sabin, MN.
She was baptized, confirmed and married in Trinity Lutheran Church at Sabin, where she was a lifelong member. She attended school in the Sabin area, later working in Fargo and Moorhead doing house work.
Ann married Lester Krabbenhoft, October 18, 1939, at Sabin Trinity Lutheran Church. They lived at Comstock for 4 years. In 1944 they moved to Sabin and farmed. She was a homemaker, enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends, working outside and helping with farm work. Lester passed away October 9, 2003. She was always ready to help when needed. She enjoyed taking care of grandchildren and playing cards with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She and Lester enjoyed their retirement playing cards with friends, taking tours, and also working with her church circle.
Ann is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Larry Safgren, Lois Calvin Messersmith and two sons, Dennis Carol and Ralph Cherie, eleven grandchildren, Lorie Scott, Steve Karla, Marc Sarah, Randy Pam, Chris Lyndi, D’Anne Bruce, Matthew Jeana, Lisa Randy, Junell, Angie Dave, Ryan Jessica and 19 great-grandchildren, two brothers Lester and Delmer, sister Elda and sister-in-law Lillian Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Ann will be Friday, February 5, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 PM in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN, with a prayer service at 7:00.
Funeral: Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11:00 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, MN.
Interment: Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
