Annabelle M. Straight

Annabelle Maryann Straight, 84 of Cambridge, MN died October 16, 2013 at Heritage Foley Nursing Home in Foley, MN.
She was born October 25, 1928 to Albert B. and Emma Knutson Johnson in Norman County, MN. She attended and graduated from Twin Valley High School in Twin Valley, MN. Annabelle attended Detroit Lakes Business School. She married Donald Straight in 1950. They lived and worked in Detroit Lakes and later lived in Washington when Donald was in the Army. Annabelle and Donald lived in Minneapolis, Breckenridge, Pelican Rapids, and Moorhead. Annabelle enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Fargo. She also attended a Parkinson’s support group for her husband Donald.
Survivors include her children, Dean Straight of Honolulu, HI and Julie Sherne Wadsworth of Stacy, MN; sisters, Lois Smith of Morrison, TN and Grace Charles Dvorak of Yelm, WA; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Burnett Johnson, Arnie Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and Derral Johnson; sisters, Eunice and Genevieve.

Funeral Service will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.
Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the Funeral home.
Interment will be at the Scambler Cemetery in Pelican Rapids at a later date.
