Anthony D. Michener

Anthony Darius was born September 11, 1953 in Fargo, ND, to John and Janice Komrosky Michener. He grew up in Hawley, MN, where he graduated with honors from Hawley High School. Tony attended Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN and later Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. After college he lived in various places throughout the country. Most recently, he has resided in Moorhead for the last ten years. Tony worked in carpentry and remodeling. He had a love of music and the ability to play almost any instrument. Most of all, he was an exceptional harmonica player. Tony had a warm and generous heart, and he will be missed by all.Tony is survived by his parents, three sons, Adam, Enoch and Noah Michener; three brothers, January Diana Michener, John Darcy Michener and Monte Ravit Michener; sister, Roxanne Steve Sahlberg; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Anthony Michener's body has been graciously bequeathed to the University of Minnesota, Anatomy Bequest Program. No services are planned.
