Ardeen J. Langness

Ardeen J. Langness, 70, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND. Ardeen was born February 4, 1947, to Ned and Nina Kvenlog Langness. He grew up in the Midwest, mainly Minnesota and North Dakota. He graduated from Minot high school, and in 1970 was drafted in to the U.S. Army. He served overseas as a radar operator in the Korean DMZ, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Following his service, he returned to Fargo-Moorhead. In 1976, Ardeen married Kristie Nelson. They raised three children in their 27 years together.
Ardeen made his career in construction, ranging from self-employed to General contractor. He enjoyed both the design, and the building process. He also enjoyed Gospel music and liked playing the guitar.

Ardeen is survived by his son, Daniel Sarah Langness; daughters, Janna Dan Westerholm, Kelsey Kipp Loeslie; grandchildren, Mathias Langness, Henrik and Harrison Westerholm; brother, Bruce Ramona Langness; and sister, Arnette McCrae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Jack McCrae.

Visitation will be Monday, October 23, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7 PM, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral will be Tuesday, October 24, at 11:00 AM, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
