Ardis E. Nicholas

Ardis Nicholas, 75, of Dilworth, MN passed away on Tuesday, January 24, at Manor Care in Fargo, ND. Ardis was born on December 28, 1941 to Samuel and Lillian Askelson Swenson in Ada, MN.
Ardis attended school in Ulen, MN and moved to Dilworth, MN in 1957. Ardis met and married John Nicholas in 1959 and together began a family. Along Ardis’ journey, she met Glenn in 1980 and they spent 31 years together. Ardis was a finisher for Silverline, Classic Roadsters, and Sugar Sand Marine, but more than anything else she was a mother first. Ardis then worked at Herbergers after retiring from her finishing career. Ardis had a love and a passion for her family, she loved her pets, and enjoyed baking. She also enjoyed traveling to see her sister to Arizona.
Ardis is survived by her sons, Todd Stacy, Troy, and Travis Leeann Nicholas; Daughter Tammy Rosenfeldt; Step-sons, Kent Cindy, Bruce Candace, Glenn Deb Jr., and Randy Julie Rosenfeldt; Special extended family members, Shawn Mari Nicholas and Chad Tonya Chaves Nicholas; 23 Grandchildren; 26 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother, Orland Swenson; Sister, Shirley Bob Kelsven; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dean Swenson, and Companion of 31 years, Glenn Rosenfeldt.
Memorial Gathering: Wednesday, February 1st , from 5:00-6:30PM with a prayer service beginning at 6:30PM at wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN
