Ardoth C. Week

Ardoth Carrol Hanson Week, 85, left this Earth peacefully on September 8, 2016, at home under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Ardoth was born on February 24, 1931 in Moorhead, MN, to Tony and Goldie Hanson. She graduated from Gwinner High School. On September 25, 1949, Ardoth was united in marriage to Lawrence Week in Gwinner. Lawrence passed away on March 6, 1989.

Ardoth enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling with her special friend, John. She also had a love for crocheting, giving many family members an afghan.

Ardoth and John enjoyed spending time on the farm, at Lake Ida and winters in Arizona. They also took a cruise to Alaska.

She had one of the kindest, giving and loving hearts, laugh and smile. Ardoth kept her friends close and her family even closer.

She is survived by her very special friend, John Fiandaca and family; her son, Kent Deanne Week, Mesa, AZ; 3 daughters, Ginger Tim Haaland, Moorhead, Susan Rutherford, Moorhead, and Judy Johnson, Horace, ND; her brother and special sister-in-law, Keith and Cindy Hanson, Covina, CA; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, two brothers, husband, son, niece, two nephews and great-granddaughter.

Memorial Service: Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
