Arlene M. Swenson

Arlene M. Swenson, age 90, of Dilworth, MN, died Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Eventide in Moorhead, MN.
Arlene Muriel Wright was born on April 2, 1926 to Ralph and Clara Carlson Wright in Thief River Falls, MN.
Arlene worked with her dad at the Lake Park Creamery where she met her future husband, Norman Swenson. They were married on January 1, 1946. They moved to Moorhead and soon settled in Dilworth. Arlene worked at Cully’s Café in Dilworth and also worked for the Election Board over the years.
She enjoyed watching her sons play sports, her grandchildren play sports, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by her son, Richard Beverly Swenson of Moorhead, MN; daughter-in-law, Christine Swenson of Moorhead, MN; three grandchildren, David Jamie Swenson, Dean Jodi Stoa Swenson, and Dawn Swenson; 2 sisters-in-law, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, 1 brother, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Swenson; Son, Robert Swenson, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and her parents.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 2:00P.M. at Dilworth Lutheran Church in Dilworth, MN with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead, MN.
