Audrey S. Moderow

Audrey Sharon Moderow, 76, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, June 29, 2015, in Fairmont Assisted Living, Moorhead, MN. Audrey was born May 13, 1939, to Walter and Marian Hanson Otto. She grew up in Sisseton, SD, where she graduated from high school. On March 31, 1961, Audrey married Harvey Moderow. Together they made their home in Fargo and started a family. Audrey and Harvey owned and operated Harvey’s Janitor Service.

Audrey enjoyed staying active in the community. She was President of the American Legion Auxiliary in Moorhead for 5 years, and enjoyed volunteering at the VA Hospital. She also enjoyed attending craft shows, knitting and playing Bingo, but most of all loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Audrey is survived by her grandchildren, Amy Gregg Guzman of Woodstock, IL, Brad Moderow of Fargo; great-grandchildren, Abby, Alex and Allie Guzman; daughter-in-law, Marchell Moderow of Fargo; sisters, Judy Larry Carpenter of Moorhead, MN, Deb Mike Krueger of Fargo; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; son, Steven; parents, Walter and Marian Otto; and brother, Donald Otto.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 1, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Thursday, July 2, at 11:00 a.m., in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
