Barbara A. Thompson

Barbara A. (Hiltwein) Thompson, 88, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Barbara was born November 2, 1930, to Joseph and Cecilia Hiltwein in Motley, MN. She attended school in Moorhead and International Falls, MN. Barb fell in love and married Leonard Thompson on March 3, 1952. They lived most of their married life in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Leonard passed away on December 6, 2013. Barb loved to play cards, listen to Elvis music, put puzzles together, read and dance.

Barb is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Alfred Skredergard and Curtis (Helen) Skredergard; and two nieces, Camille Skredergard and Karen Chase.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, from 10 – 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Nativity Church of Fargo.

Interment will follow at Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
