Barbara Gaylean Lampe

Barbara Gaylean (Koontz) Lampe, 58, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, in her home in Fargo, ND.

Barbara was born on October 13, 1962, in San Jose, CA, to Dianna Louise (Koontz) Gordon. She grew up in San Jose where she attended school up to the 10^th grade. She moved to Brenham, TX, where she waited tables for nearly 20 years at a local steakhouse. She moved back to California, living in Bakersfield. She later met David Pfistner and they were united in marriage on June 28, 2007. The lived in Texas and Mexico before settling in Fargo, ND.

Barbara was an active member at the Brookdale Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting. She was a good woman who will be sorely missed by her loving family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband, David Pfistner; children, Amanda (Chris) Cross and Jonathan Lampe; stepchildren, David Jr., Joseph, Sean, and Arthur Pfistner; grandchildren, Cash and Vovalee Cross; sisters, Donna Graham and Claudia (Tom) Clay; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dianna Gordon; and grandmother, Hilda Koontz.

A visitation will be from noon-1:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 30, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available on her webpage at www.wrightfuneral.com where a guestbook and video tribute may also be found.
