Bettie L. Withnell

June 28, 1928 - August 15, 2017

Age 89, Bettie peacefully passed on at Augustana Care - Emerald Crest in Minnetonka, MN. A previous resident of Moorhead, MN where she was the youngest daughter to Walter and Olga Fuller. Her three sisters Mary Henry, Edna Pierce and Ruth Egge preceded her in death. She married her high-school sweetheart Ralph Withnell deceased, and they had three children: Cynthia James Paulson, Todd deceased and Kurt Marielena Withnell. She had three grandchildren, Mia and Amy Paulson and Kyle Courtney Withnell. She is also survived by two great grandchildren Carson Randall and Austin Withnell. Bettie taught Elementary Education in the Moorhead school district and was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Music was her passion and she played the piano all her life. She was active at church, in the PEO sisterhood, and after she retired she volunteered throughout the community. She loved sewing, quilting, weaving and spending time with her family Bettie also loved to spend summers at her cottage on Bad Medicine Lake. She was smart, funny, creative, kind and caring. As a mother, grandmother, aunt and friend she will be missed.
