Betty Frisch

Betty Frisch, age 89, passed away on October 23, 2014, in Serenity Assisted Living, Dilworth, MN.
Betty Ann Kuehl, daughter of Chris and Maye Kuehl of Sabin, MN, was born January 31, 1925 in Fargo, ND. She graduated from MSTC high school, Moorhead, MN, and Moorhead State Teachers College with a degree in elementary education. She taught school in Barnesville, MN, Moorhead, MN and Fargo, ND, prior to her last 25 years in Dilworth, MN. Betty retired in 1986.

Betty was active in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Sabin, MN. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the church choir for many years.
Betty married Milan Frisch in 1949 at St. Cecilia’s in Sabin, MN. They lived in Sabin from 1949 – 1998. Betty moved to Moorhead in 1998.

Betty is survived by two children, Pete Franci Frisch, Maple Grove, MN, and Laurie Neil Polka, Moorhead, MN; three granddaughters, one grandson, and four great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Florence Hanson.

Betty’s family would like to extend their appreciation for the exceptional care and loving support provided by the staff and management at Serenity Assisted Living.

Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Sabin, MN.

Interment: Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
