Beulah J Pullen-Hodson of Fargo, ND, was called to join her Lord and Savior on March 22, 2022, at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo at the age of 90.
Beulah “Bonnie” Jean Pullen-Hodson was born in Kenmare, ND, on February 22, 1932, to Eldon and Florence Pullen, and raised on the family farm taking joy in caring for their many animals. She attended school in Donnybrook where she was active from a young age playing softball, bowling, and cheerleading for the Donnybrook Diamonds. Her family moved to Minot where she finished her last year of school at Minot High before attending the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for Accounting.
Bonnie moved back to the Minot area and married Glen Watland in 1952, where they eventually started their family and had daughters Pattie and Debra.
In 1970, Bonnie moved to Fargo with her daughters to open the Hector Airport Gift Shop. She owned and operated the shop until it was sold in 1973. She accepted a position in accounting for KFGO Radio where she was employed for many years before joining the Fargo Public Schools in the Payroll department until her retirement.
Bonnie married Earl Hodson in January of 1990, and settled into their home in North Fargo. In the summers the couple very much enjoyed hosting family and friends at their place on Lake Lizzie. In their free time Bonnie and Earl enjoyed dancing, playing cards, league bowling, and yearly travels to Texas. They were also dedicated to their faith and longtime members of Elim Lutheran Church in Fargo.
Bonnie will be remembered for her generous heart, her unending faith in God, stylish sense of fashion, sassy sense of humor, and her love for family, friends, and togetherness.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Pattie (Jim) Larson of Fargo, Debra (Eric) Mohr of Alexandria, MN; step children, Elizabeth “Beth” (Tim) Wasfaret-Chloupek of Dilworth, MN, Nanette (Wayne) Barker of Grand Lodge, MI, Earl Lee (Gwen) Hodson of Moorhead, MN, Jodi (Mark) Buffinton of Seaside, OR; 6 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; and many close cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
