Beverly “Bunny” Bartness

Beverly “Bunny” Bartness, 92, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN.

Bunny was born to Francis and Mary (Meader) Magloughlin in Moorhead on March 2, 1927.  She grew up in Dilworth, MN, and graduated from Dilworth Public School.

On October 1, Bunny was united in marriage to Tilman Bartness and together they had four children.

Bunny worked in food service her entire working career. First for Dilworth Public School and later Concordia College.  She was a fabulous cook and baker and around the holidays would bless many people with her baked goods.

Bunny is survived by her children, Larry (Anna) Bartness, Panama City, FL, Mary (Jerome) Reimche, Moorhead, MN, Gary Bartness, Lake Jackson, TX; daughters-in-law, Margo Bartness and Patricia Bartness; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Donald and Ken Magloughlin; sister, Arlene; son, Terry Bartness and step-sons, Roger Bartness and Donald Bartness.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Dilworth Presbyterian Church, Dilworth, MN.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
