Beverly Yvonne Solberg Eli Dans, age 77, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, November 1, 2010, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.Beverly Yvonne Solberg was born on November 5, 1932, to Edgar J. and Petra M. Elgin Solberg in Fargo, ND. She grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating from Moorhead High School in 1950. On June 29, 1951, Beverly married Sam Eli in Moorhead, MN. Together they had two children, Laurie and Daniel. They divorced in 1994. In July, 1995, Beverly Eli married Greg Dans in Moorhead, MN. Greg Dans died in 2001. Beverly enjoyed gardening, painting, wood carving and fellowship in the Christian Science Church.Beverly is survived by a sister, Joy Allen Davenport, Des Moines, WA; brother, Paul Gail Solberg of Federal Way, WA; daughter, Laurie Eli Gerald Fischer of Dilworth, MN; son, Daniel Eli of Moorhead, MN; three grandchildren, Eric, Kari and Steven; seven great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husband, Sam Eli and Greg Dans and her beloved dog and walking companion, Kota.
