Blanche I. Bitker

Blanche I. Bitker, 84, of San Juan, TX, died Friday, May 12, 2006, in Biltmore Care Center, McAllen, TX.Blanche Irene Bitker was born on November 12, 1921 to E.K. and Bertha Ford Olson in Ada, MN. She grew up and attended school at an Ada Country School. On November 29, 1939 she married Clarence Bitker in Ada, MN. She completed Beauty School in the 1960's and started B's Beauty Shop in their home.She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clarence Bitker, McAllen, TX; one son, Clifton Sylvia Bitker, Bemidji, MN; two daughters, Eve Vanna David Hedrich, San Juan, TX; Bonnie Swanson, McAllen, TX; one brother, Russell Donna Olson, Twin Valley, MN; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Olson, Ada, MN; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and her loving pet dog, Angel.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald Olson.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Driscoll Children's Hospital, 3533 South Alameda, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.
