Bob was born in Moorhead, MN on October 17, 1961, a son of Everett and Shirley Grant Beckett. Bob grew up and went to school in Glyndon, MN and was an exceptional wrestler and karate student in his youth. He received his Radiologic Technologist degree in 1983 from St. Luke's in Fargo, ND where he continued to work in CT for the next five years. Bob was married to Lisa Eigen on December 11, 1987 and raised a son and daughter. The family lived for a time in Oregon where Bob received his BS in Science from Portland State University and also worked as a CT Technologist at Oregon Health and Sciences University OHSU. In 1996, the family moved to Wales, WI where Bob had spent the last 14 years employed by GE in Waukesha; most recently as a Global Product Manager. Bob took great pride in his career at GE Healthcare and spoke often about how his work was improving healthcare services for humanity on a global level. Whether he was designing a CT scanner or a landscape project for the home, Bob was the happiest when he was constructing something. He was an avid builder, and he took great pride in working on the homes and landscapes he and his family lived in. He loved being outdoors, waterskiing, golfing and working in the yard. Bob had always been a fan of open-wheel racing, first following the IndyCar circuit, and later following Formula One racing. As a husband, father, brother, son, uncle and as an individual, he will forever be missed and loved by those who cherish his memory.Bob is survived by his wife Lisa, his son Jordan Beckett of Eugene, OR and his daughter Alea Beckett of Waukesha. He also leaves his parents Everett and Shirley Beckett of Glyndon, MN, his brother Mike Deb Beckett and his sister Sherry Jim Schumann all of Hawley, MN and a brother-in-law Mark Beto of Glyndon, MN. Bob will also be remembered by his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by an infant brother Brent and a sister Wendy Beto.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Area Free Clinic, 865 B Armour Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066."People say dreams are everything.
