Bonnie L. Pieterick

Bonnie L. Pieterick, age 75, of Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND, with her family by her side, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Bonnie L. Pieterick was born on March 19, 1936 to Palmer and Ellen Hanson in Rutland, ND. She grew up and attended school in Rutland, graduating from Rutland High School. Bonnie then attended Concordia College for one year. On June 15, 1957 she married William Pieterick in Havana, ND. William died on September 24, 1994. She enjoyed bowling, family car trips, traveling to the southwest, going to the lake and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie lived eight homes away from Moorhead High School and became a grandma to many. Her door was always open as she treated her grandchildren, their friends and anyone else who was in need to lunch, snacks, rides home and anything else they may need. Blessed be the memory of Bonnie, she will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Mark AnnDee Pieterick of Moorhead, MN and Julie Greg Barsgard of Dilworth, MN; five grandchildren, Jason, Justin and Joe Pieterick, Melanie Lucas Middlebrook and Derek Barsgard as well as two great-grandchildren, Mica and Afton Middlebrook.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany on 42nd for their care and compassion.
