Bonnie Ellefson was born in Duluth, MN on March 19, 1927 and attended school in Proctor, MN. Following graduation she worked in the Medical Arts Building until her marriage to Howard C. Ramstad who was a pilot in the Air National Guard. Following his tour in Korea, they lived in a number of Air Force installations including Denver, CO and Duluth AFB. While in Duluth their daughter, Carolyn, was born and she and her mother endured Howard's absence for an 18 month tour in Korea. Upon his return and assignment to Traux AFB, WI, he retired from military duty and they spent the next 17 years in St. Louis, MO. Then came the final move back to Moorhead, MN. Bonnie had lived the past 24 years here, 8 of them with limited mobility. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Howard; daughter, Carolyn; and two grandchildren, January and Dan.
