Borghild D. ’Borgie’ Nick

Borgie was born October 21, 1915 in Alida, MN to Emil and Josephine Johnson Christenson, later moved to West Fargo, and then to Fargo, where she attended school. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1933. On December 13, 1939 she married Clifford Nick of Dilworth, MN, in St. Paul, MN. Clifford served in WWII and then they settled in Moorhead to raise their family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Borgie was also a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Borgie was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and grandson, Michael.Survived by 2 sons, John Carol of Mounds View, MN, and Douglas Mary of St. Louis Park, MN; grandchildren, Jessica Robert Lee, Megan Christopher Reardon, Jonathan Toni Heinz; and great grandchildren Gavin and Kaine Lee.
