Brenda Joi Zeller

Brenda Joi Zeller, 59, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2024, in her home in Moorhead.

Brenda was born on November 7, 1964, in Wadena, MN, to James and Deanna (Schwartz) Zeller. She attended special education classes in Staples, Dilworth, and Moorhead, MN. She loved puppies, babies, and cookies.

For the last 38 years, she was fortunate to live in group homes provided by CCRI. There she engaged in many activities with caregivers and friends.

Brenda is survived by her parents, James and Deanna; siblings, Bruce (Jodi) Zeller, Bobbi (Shannon) Ruziska, and Jennifer (Paul) Nelson; nieces and nephews, Chase (Leandra) Zeller, Emily (Elyssa) Ruziska, Joe Nelson, Caleb Ruziska, and Sam Nelson; great nieces, Natalie and Aria Zeller; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herbert and Tressie Zeller, and Roy and Eunice Schwartz.

A private family graveside service will be held.

Brenda’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at CCRI and Sanford Hospice for the much tender loving care and comfort in her final days.
