Brian S. Ramsey

Brian Sverre Ramsey, 57, of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Manor Care Health, Fargo, ND, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brian was born in 1958 in Breckenridge, MN to Gordon and Doris Rise Ramsey. Brian graduated from Moorhead High School in 1976 served in the Marines, he worked in Colorado and Minot for several years and moved to Moorhead in the early 1990’s. On March 14, 2015, Brain married Beverly Braseth. Together they made their home in Moorhead.

Brian is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Joshua of Thief River Falls, MN, Levi of Mandan, ND; grandson, Jerome; mother, Doris of Halstad, MN; sister, Susan Ron Hemberger of Halstad, MN; brothers, Craig Anne of Everett, WA, Warren Julie of Duluth, MN; nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats, Crybaby and Tinkerbell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, May 29, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
