Brian “Spinner” M. Gross

Brian “Spinner” Gross, 51, of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, November 12, 2015, in Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.

Brian was born December 7, 1963, in Aberdeen, SD, to Richard “Dick” and Judy Grace Gross. After moving to Moorhead in 1964, he grew up and attended school, graduating from Moorhead High School in 1981. Following high school he worked various jobs and continued his education at Minnesota State University Moorhead where he earned his degree. On August 13, 1993, he married Katherine “Kate” Grossman. Over the years he enjoyed bartending and working in the Optical field. He most recently had been at Advanced Marketing and Sales. Brian also really enjoyed sports, movies, spending time with friends and traveling with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Brian is survived by his wife, Kate; daughter, Kayla; father, Dick; sister, Polly Otto Gross; brother, Brad Cathy Gross; nieces and nephews, Nate Nikkie, Cody, Kayla and Macy; and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy; and grandparents, Frank Evelyn Gross and Dick Leigh Grace.

Memorial Gathering: Thursday, November 19, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Memorial Service: Friday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
