Brittnee Nicole Russell

Brittnee Nicole Russell, 27, of Hawley, MN, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 14, 2019, in her home due to complications from her lifelong battle with Lupus.

Brittnee was born on February 10, 1992, in Fort Riley, KS, to Jeffrey and Billie (Wegner) Russell. Brittnee grew up in Tallahassee, FL, for 5 years, West Fargo, ND, for 3 years, and Hawley, MN. On February 10, 2006, her 14^th birthday, Brittnee was diagnosed with Lupus. She attended and graduated from Hawley High School and she was confirmed in the Christian Church at Lysne Lutheran Church. Brittnee provided childcare services to families in the Hawley area.

Brittnee was a big lover of animals, especially pigs, and always had a pet at any given time in her life. She enjoyed sports; her favorite teams were the New York Yankees, FSU, and Dale Earnhardt. She was fond of crafts and loved her Facebook Pearl Shows. She especially loved to laugh and have a good time, spending time with her friends, singing, dancing with Trever, and spending as much time as she could with her gma and papa.

Brittnee is survived by her Fiancé, Trever McDaniel; daughters, Aubree Carlson, Annabelle and Harmony McDaniel; parents, Billie Wegner and Jeff (Leanne) Russell; brother, James Russell; half-siblings, Christopher Arrigo and Melissa Phelps; grandparents, James and Mary Russell; godmother, Nicki Ulrich; godfather, Dana Wegner; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her two children, Brooklen and Rian Russell-McDaniel; uncle, Larry Wegner; and grandparents, Bill and Joyce Wegner.

Visitation will be from 5:00P.M. – 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 P.M., on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN. Visitation will continue at 10:00 A.M., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Lysne Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN.
