Bruce Phillip Bullock, 65, Moorhead, MN, died Friday, May 14, 2021, at the Fargo VA Hospital.
Bruce was born June 16, 1955 to Jesse Hugh and Willie Mae (Jackson) Bullock in Elizabeth Town, NY. He graduated from high school in West Port, NY and began working as a laborer in the construction trade. After a few years he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served 4 years and was honorably discharged. He then began working in construction for about 10 years, until he started as an over- the- road truck driver for Swift Transportation. Bruce eventually saved enough money to purchase his own truck, which he drove until his retirement in 2020.
In his 20’s, Bruce was a talented rock-n-roll drummer in New York and enjoyed playing with several local bands. He also had a love for traveling and through his work as a truck driver he was able to see and experience many states all across the country.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jesse Bullock Jr. He is survived by his siblings, Anthony Bullock, Riviera Beach, FL, Michael Bullock, West Port, NY, June Bullock, West Port, NY; half-brothers, Winston Frize, Ormand Beach, FL, Jackie Bullock, Orlando, FL; nieces, Kristina Bullock, Carmen Royal, and nephews, Anthony Bullock Jr., Travis Odell Bullock, Craig Bullock and Lester Royal.
