Burke Justin Loewe

Burke Justin Loewe of Hawley, MN, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Sanford Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Burke was born on May 15, 2021, to Brittany Windahl and Andrew Loewe in Fargo, ND.  From the time of his first ultrasound everyone could see his chubby cheeks. He gave his mom a run for her money through the whole pregnancy and came flying into the world 6 weeks early. From that moment on everyone was in love and was at last able to squeeze those cheeks. From the second Burke came home he was loved beyond words including by his puppy Bella who always made sure he was taken care of.  Burke loved watching all the action of his siblings on a daily basis.  Over the last couple weeks of his life, he really enjoyed everyone making him smile and talk. One of his all-time favorites was taking a bath with mom which of course meant a head massage. Burke was so loved by his entire family in his short time on earth. Burke was a ‘teute'(cute) boy and will be so deeply missed.

Survivors include Burke’s parents, Brittany and Andrew; siblings, Ariya, Aurora, and Aston Reed, Aikley Windahl, Arysen and Ambrose Loewe; grandparents, Brenda Windahl, Ryan and Darcie Cwikla; great-grandparents, Milo and Darlyne Windahl, and Margo Stehr; and aunt, Samantha (Josh) Loewe. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Windahl; uncle, Jeremy Windahl; and multiple great-grandparents.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Hawley Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN.
