Caren Hendrickson

Caren “Bitch” (Forness) Hendrickson, 61, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, in her home in Moorhead. Caren was born on January 31, 1962, to James and Ethel “Pinky” Forness in Fargo, ND.

Caren grew up very much as free spirit in the Fargo/Moorhead area before moving to Texas in the late 1970’s, working as a bar waitress. Her daughter, Keshia, was conceived in Texas prior to Caren moving back to the Fargo/Moorhead area where her daughter was born in 1987. She was united in marriage to Tim Hendrickson in 1992, the same year their son, Eric, was born. Tim passed away on April 20, 2020. In 2016, Caren become a very proud grandmother to Brayden whom she shared an inseparable bond.

Caren was very well known in the biker community and attended events such as the Zoo Run, Toy Run, and the Sturgis Rally to name a few. She earned the nickname “Bitch”, and she wore the title with absolute pride. Caren was a very hardworker, often working until she couldn’t anymore. She was a strong, independent woman and one hell of a single mom. She was always welcoming with an open door to her home to her numerous adopted kids. She was quite the feisty little spitfire who will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Caren is survived by her children, Keshia Hendrickson and Eric Hendrickson; grandson, Brayden Braun; siblings, Deb (Rick) Prigelmeier, Kathy Forness, Barb (Chris) Braanam, Dave (Wanda) Forness, and Ed Forness; adopted kids, Brooks and Brandon Fox; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Pinky; sister, Mickey Forness; nephew, Ryan Dick Forness; and niece, AnneMarie Camp.

Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 21, 2023, at Gethsemane Episcopal Church, Fargo, ND.
