Carmella L. Pardino

CARMELLA CAMILLE LUCILLE PARDINO

Camille died on Monday, July 07, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Moorhead. She was born on September 11, 1916, in Dilworth, Minnesota.

Camille will be united with her parents Biaso and Catherine Gabriele Pardino, all her sisters and brothers- Marie Anton Phil Saporito, Mary Armand Archiletti, Rose Joe Varriano, Cosmo Domenico, Sam Jane Pardino, Frank Pardino, Dominic Regina Pardino, and her lifelong friend Tony Bava.

She and her beloved friend of 62 years, Tony, both longtime residents of Dilworth, worked side by side at the Venice Gardens Supper Club and Hi 10 Liquor Store for 62 years. Both establishments were located in Dilworth, Minnesota. Tony Bava died April 9, 1999. She retired in 1993, at the age of 77, when the liquor store closed.

Camille was very generous to many people and organizations. She enjoyed going to the lakes and on bus trips with friends to Shooting Star Casino. She had a great love of family gatherings, dining out and attending activities in Dilworth and the Fargo-Moorhead area.

She graduated from Dilworth High School in 1935. She was a life-long member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Dilworth and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Camille leaves as survivors, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and friends.

Camille was always very thankful for her caregivers and friends at Golden Living Center and Arbor Park Village, both of Moorhead, MN, for all their love and attention shown to her, and she really enjoyed their many activities. With gratitude and love to Marianne and Ken Bourdeau for the many years of their continuing care and attention. “You will never know”.

Funeral will be at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Dilworth, Minnesota, Friday, July 11, 2014, at 10 A.M., with Father Pat Sullivan officiating and visitation will be from 9 to 10 at the church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Moorhead, Minnesota. Memorials preferred to St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Dilworth, Minnesota.
