Carol Ann Luthi

Carol Ann Luthi, 64, of Hawley, MN, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Carol was born July 9, 1947, to Oscar and Fern Olson Green. She grew up in rural Ulen, MN, attended and graduated from Ulen High School. After high school Carol lived in Moorhead, MN, Seattle, WA, and then California. She married Vergil Luthi in 1967 and together they started a family in Prior Lake, MN, where they lived until returning to the Ulen area in 1977. Carol most recently resided in Hawley. She enjoyed nature, birds, the outdoors, playing cards, listening to music, and cooking, but most of all loved the time she spent with her sisters, children and grandchildren. Carol will be most remembered for her warm personality and sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.Carol is survived by her daughters, Teresa Luthi Bert McDonough of Moorhead, Tanya Jane Ken Andres of Dilworth, MN; grandchildren, Briar and Hailey Andres; step-grandchild, Landen McDonough; siblings, Orla Howard Myhra, Barbara Richard Erickson, Harley Janet Green, Ruby Sandal, Daniel Marilyn Green, Oscar Jr. Diane Green, Kenneth Renee Green, Arlene Todd Kjos, John Judy Green, Tony Jennifer Green, LoAnn Fred Thornton, Wesley Joy Green, Brian Ellen Green; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father Oscar, and her mother Fern.
