Carol E. Cascio

Carol E. Cascio, 84, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Eventide in Fargo. Carol was born February 12, 1935, to Norman and Eloise (Schultz) Karlson in Milwaukee, WI, where she grew up and attended school. After high school, Carol continued her education in nursing in Madison, WI. On May 4, 1957, Carol married Frank Cascio. Together they made their home in Milwaukee and started a family. In 1970, the family moved to Minnesota and later settled in Moorhead in 1976. Over the years, Carol enjoyed knitting, spending time outdoors and gardening, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead.

Carol is survived by her children, Steve Cascio of Moorhead, MN, Terese Cascio of West Fargo, ND, Gina Cascio of Cambridge, MN, Ross Cascio of Minneapolis, MN, Robert Cascio of Moorhead, MN; two grandchildren, Josh and Abbey; and two great-granddaughters, Meisha and Jordyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughter, Mia Marie; and brother, Arthur.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 p.m., in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
