Carol Joann Pierce

Carol JoAnn Pierce, aged 47, passed away suddenly on December 25, 2016 surrounded by her family in Fort Meyers, FL. The daughter of Harold and Hazel Swenson Pierce, Carol was born on April 14, 1969 in Minneapolis, MN.

Hospitality was a special gift of Carol’s as she was always eager to serve those around her. Many will remember her for her infectious laugh and her desire to make everyone feel welcome.

Carol is survived by her 3 children and son-in-law, Stacy Mercier, Amanda and Jordan Gonzales, and Timothy Mercier Jr., granddaughter, Arianna, and 2 unborn grandsons. She is also survived by her siblings, John Gloria Pierce, Christine David Longie, and Kenneth Pierce as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead. Interment will be at Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
