Carolyn M. Anderson

Carolyn Anderson, age 78, of Lake Park, MN passed away peacefully on May 25th.  She is survived by her husband Charlie, three children, Bryan (Dawn) Anderson of Lake Park, MN, Darcie Anderson of Winona, MN and Alyssa (Curtis) Haugen of Maple Grove, MN. Grandchildren Maegan Reller (Mitch), Clay Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Sydney Brezany, Callan Haugen, and Aivyn Haugen.  Great-grandchildren Maiya, and Rowan Reller. 

Carolyn was born October 9, 1944 to Charles (Todd) and May Lou Davidson in Beach, ND. She grew up on a farm alongside her five brothers and 2 sisters.  After graduating from high school, Carolyn took on the adventure of college at Concordia in Moorhead, MN, where she met Charlie, her love of 56 years.  She graduated to become a teacher and spent a few years in Hawley MN, before becoming an integral part of farm life in Lake Park and raising her children. 

 Carolyn was active in the community whether it was through church, attending school events, or writing articles for the Lake Park Journal, she had a tendency to bop to the surface. Our little bobber.

Charlie and Carolyn had the privilege of spending 24 winters in Florida, where they made countless friends and memories traveling, playing cards and enjoying the sunshine. You would find her in the garden, her flower beds, or at the piano most often. She spent countless hours deadheading plants, both her own and everyone she visited.

She is also survived by her brothers Ron (Joanne), Donald (Maria), Bernie (Cheryl), Bob (Pam), and sisters Sandra (Jack) Zaleski and Deb (Scott) Edgerton, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles (Todd) and May Lou Davidson, her brother Ken Davidson, and nephews Travis and Kent Davidson.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M., with the Memorial Service at 11:30 A.M. at Lake Park Lutheran Church, Lake Park, MN. Burial will be at Lake Park Lutheran Cemetery.
