Carroll F. Kluck, 75, Moorhead, MN, died on Monday, November 1, 2010, in Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park, MN.Carroll Floyd Kluck was born August 23, 1935, on the family farm near Barnesville, MN, the youngest son of Charles and Gena Golberg Kluck. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Barnesville High School in 1953. Carroll enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for two years in Japan, the Philippines, China and Hawaii on the USS Saint Clair County 1096, from November 17, 1955 until August 19, 1957. He married Marilyn Ann Tufton on August 30, 1957, in North Buffalo Lutheran Church near Kragnes, MN. They made their home at Kragnes, and he worked for the Kragnes Farmer's Elevator for 32 years, retiring in 1998. He also worked for Hornbacher's in Moorhead. They enjoyed many summers with the family at Bijou Lake near Lake Park, MN, where they had a place. He enjoyed water skiing, swimming and fishing, as well as gardening and working on small projects. They also liked attending baseball games. He had many pets dogs and cats throughout his life. His wife, Marilyn, died on December 27, 2002.Carroll is survived by his sons, Jeffory Kluck, Moorhead, MN, and Stacey Kluck, Arlington, VA; one sister, Lillian Mae Kansier, Salem, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gena; his wife, Marilyn; three brothers, Robert, Ralph and Clarence; and two sisters, Pearl and Emma; and three half-brothers, Walter McCarty, William McCarty, Lawrence McCarty.
