Charles B. Moore

Charles Benton Moore, a lifelong resident of Glyndon, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2011, at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN, at the age of 72. Charlie was born August 21, 1938, the son of Charles H. and Fora Johnson Moore. He grew up and attended school in Glyndon. On May 25, 1958, he married Beverly Jean Bayliss. Together they had three daughters. Charles was very talented and could fix anything. He worked as an electrician with his father. Later, he worked at Hobart and worked on computerized food service equipment. In 1979, Charles and his wife started "Caps and Moore" which was a custom printing business located in Moorhead. They closed the business in 2005 and retired due to health complications. Soon after, they moved to Fairmont Assisted Living and later to Eventide Lutheran Home where he passed away.Charlie is survived by his wife, Beverly Jean; two daughters, Laurie Gregor of Moorhead, MN, Julie Merlin Church of Glyndon, MN; three grandchildren, Michael Sandra Sherman of Fargo, ND, T.Jay Karissa Gregor of Moorhead, MN, Michelle Sherman of Fargo, ND; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Jesse Ann Malchose Kamerling of Wisconsin.He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Charlene Anne.
