Charlotte E. Rix

Charlotte E. Rix, 66, Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, November 25, 2011, in Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND.Charlotte Baker was born on June 22, 1945, in Moorhead, MN, to Henry and Carrie Poppinga Baker. She grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating from Moorhead High School. She then attended business college in Fargo for two years. Charlotte married James Rix on May 1, 1965, and they made their home in Moorhead. She worked for A & T Supply, Silver Line Boat Company, Twin City Construction and Corwin Automotive until retiring for health reasons in 2004. She entered Elim Care Center in 2009. Charlotte enjoyed reading, cross stitchery, and she loved spending time at the lake with her grandchildren.Charlotte is survived by her husband, James Rix, Moorhead, MN; son Michael Diane Rix, Moorhead, MN; two grandchildren, Taylor and Garrett, both of Moorhead, MN; sisters Leona Wayne Jacobsen, Moorhead, MN, and Linda Ward, San Diego, CA; brothers-in-law John Johnson and Jim Swiggum. She was preceded in death by her parents, and five siblings, Larry Baker, Mary Behlmer, Ruth Johnson, Norm Baker, and Carol Swiggum.
