Charlotte F. Canaday

Charlotte was born May 6, 1949, to Colin and Valborg Anderson Krogstad, in St. Ansgar's Hospital, Moorhead, MN. Charlotte grew up in Perley, MN, and attended school in Hendrum, where she graduated from high school. She then continued her education at Interstate Business College in Fargo, before moving to St. Paul, MN. It is there that she met Lloyd Canaday while working at St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company. They were married in Perley, in 1971, and started their life together. In 1974, they moved to Moorhead and started a family. Charlotte loved spending time with her family at home or at the family lake cabin near Bemidji. She will be dearly missed.Charlotte is survived by her husband, Lloyd; children, Andy Canaday of Fargo, ND, Michelle Jeremy Engquist of Perley, MN, Kristen Tim Olson Canaday of West Fargo, ND; two grandchildren, Jillian and Wyatt; brother, Doug Krogstad of Perley, MN; sisters, Barb Jim Newburgh of Perley, MN, Randee Monte Haiby of Hunter, ND; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Ernest Bitker.
