Charlotte J. Mulvaney

Charlotte was born September 16, 1931, in Moorhead, MN, to Oscar and Nellie Tripp Wentzell. She grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School. On June 29, 1962, she married Harvey Mulvaney in Dilworth, MN. Together they settled in Fargo where Charlotte worked at Cass Clay Creamery. Early on she made ice cream and later ran the Sales office. She retired from Cass-Clay after 39 years. Charlotte was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxillary in Moorhead. Charlotte never had children but considered her many nieces and nephews as her own and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She will be dearly missed. Charlotte is survived by sisters, Neaomi Matisin of Ironwood, MI, Donna Campbell of Moorhead; brothers, James Wentzell of Minneapolis, MN, John Mary Wentzell of Moorhead; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; brothers, Kenneth, Merle and Orville; brothers-in-law, Richard Campbell and William Matisin; and several nieces and nephews.The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bethany Retirement Living for their care and friendship over the years.In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
