Cheryl L. Jendro

Cheryl Lieava Jendro (Vilas) began her journey to the Spirit World on June 23, 2018.

Cheryl Jendro, age 59, was born to Louis Butcher and Vienna Vilas on January 9, 1959, in White Earth, MN.  Cheryl attended school in Detroit Lakes, MN.  Early in her life Cheryl worked for Fish and Wildlife Service in Detroit Lakes, where she worked as a secretary.  She met Gary Greene and had her first daughter, Elverna Marie Vilas (Bedeau).  Later, Cheryl met Troy Jacobson and had Andrew, Alex and Danielle Jacobson.  Cheryl then married Darwin Kent Jendro from Fargo, ND.  They separated and shortly after she started suffering healthwise.  She spent her last years with Patrick McConihay from Dilworth, MN.

Cheryl suffered with many health problems but still loved to go to thrift stores, spend time with her mom, Vienna, and many grandkids.  She was very loving and cared for everyone in her life.  She always had an open door and food and she cared for her family, plus many friends.  Cheryl loved Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, and Journey.  She lived life to the fullest until the creator called her home.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Louis Butcher; brothers, Robert L. Vilas, Arleigh W.J. Vilas, Louis Butcher Jr., Gary Butcher, Paulson Butcher and Robert Hilgren.

Surviving are her boyfriend, Patrick McConihay; husband, Darwin Jendro, of Fargo; mother, Vienna Gordon, of Moorhead; daughters, Elverna Bedeau, of Minneapolis, MN, Danielle (fiancé Roger Hellerud) Vilas, of Moorhead; sons, Andrew Jacobson-Sayler, of Moorhead and Alex Jacobson, of Moorhead; sisters; Laurie (Terry Kemper), of Brainerd, MN, Charlene Gordon, of Callaway, MN, Kathaleen (Don Bad Moccasin), of Aberdeen, SD, Christy Mustapha, of Moorhead; brothers, Leroy Gordon (Esmeralda Reyes), of Enderlin, ND, Joel (Susan Privette), of Ponsford, MN, Steve (Priscilla Shively), of DesMoines, IA, Dustin Mason, of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Keith, Karissa, Madison, Christopher, Kayden, Camden, Adeline, Aiden and Karisa, and many nieces and nephews.
