Chester M. Jensen

Chester Michael Jensen was born July 17, 1921, to George and Dorothy Dauner Jensen in rural Hawley, MN. He died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in MeritCare Hospital's Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND. Chester spent his early years at Faribault State Home. After being in a number of other State Homes he began a long residence at Devine Home in Moorhead, MN, where he received excellent care. Chester loved to visit with other people and loved attending church. He also loved fishing and watching Minnesota Twins baseball, attending several home games. He will be missed.Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Joseph and Howard; an infant sister; brother-in-law, Vic Hanson; former sister-in-law, Janet Larson; and nieces, Barbara and Linda Jensen.Survivors include brothers, Ernest Luella of Wendell, MN, and Stanley Arlene of Fergus Falls, MN; sister, Lenora Hanson of Wendell, MN; sister-in-law Evelyn Jensen of Hawley, MN; and many nephews, nieces and dear friends.
